We have heard Peyton Manning yell it hundreds of times.
It seemed that every time he came up to the line of scrimmage and surveyed the defense, everyone was waiting for one word to come out of his mouth.
“Omaha.”
That three-syllable word was much more than just a city in Nebraska when the future Hall of Famer screamed it out. It put fear into the defense and meant a change was coming to Manning’s offense. A change that was likely going to end up in the Sheriff’s favor.
So, it seemed fitting for Manning to end his retirement press conference with that same three-syllable word because a change is coming.
Peyton Manning will no longer be under center anymore after 18 years.
