There are some plays you just can’t teach, and a perfect example of one of those plays was on full display in the third quarter of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots.

Trailing the Patriots 21-6, the Chiefs desperately needed a spark to not only get them going on offense, but to continue a pivotal drive to get back in the game.

On 3rd and 26 from their own 23-yard line, Alex Smith was somehow able to evade the rush and break multiple tackles to float a pass downfield to Jason Avant for a 26 yard gain.

Ten plays later, after a drive that lasted 12 plays, 80 yards, and took up 6:12 minutes of game time, Alex Smith found Albert Wilson in the endzone for a 10-yard touchdown to bring the Chiefs within 21-13.
